Nadia Flores is the Victim Response Unit Coordinator with the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office.  Her passion to help victims of crime and ensure that their voices are heard, is evident in the work that she does, as she feels that no one should be left behind.  She has almost 8 years in the area of victim advocacy, the last 4 years being with the Conejos County Sheriff’s Office.

Nadia has the heart of a servant and feels that it is important to serve her community and she does that through volunteering with different organizations in her area, such as the VFW Auxiliary, Girl Scouts, SLV Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots, and KRZA – a local non-profit radio station in the San Luis Valley, as well as promoting community engagement through her work as the Victim Response Unit Coordinator and collaborating with other organizations that have the same mission to advocate for victims of crime.

Nadia graduated from Adams State College, now Adams State University, with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies - International Relations/Linguistics, and although Nadia jokes that she is nowhere near her field, her passion, dedication and care in helping others is apparent through her work.

Nadia is also a survivor of domestic violence and uses her experiences to educate others and provide the best care that she can to those that she assists.
