Ime Lopez

Ime Lopez has been committed to advancing the rights of individuals facing marginalization for over two decades. Ime's passion for public interest work grew during her tenure as an attorney with Legal Services for New York City, where her litigation and advocacy focused on affordable housing protections, access to public benefits, and disability discrimination. Before joining RMvlc, she worked for TESSA of Colorado Springs representing college students in Title IX sexual misconduct cases and collaborating with regional agencies and organizations on education and prevention efforts related to domestic violence and sexual assault.

Outside of her work at RMvlc, Ime actively engages in various efforts to expand access to civil justice and supportive services for low-income and disadvantaged people.

Ime received her bachelor's degree from City University of New York- Lehman College in 1998 and her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2001. She is licensed to practice in Colorado and New York.
