Hannah is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School, where she was the first student in the university's history to pursue and complete a JD/MA in Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies. Prior to joining RMvlc, Hannah worked in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., where she advocated for survivors by tracking and drafting victim-centered legislation, and in production management at The Second City theater company in Chicago. During law school, Hannah worked extensively in victims' rights organizations, participating in the Jacob Burns Domestic Violence Project Clinic and clerking for SurvJustice, Inc., where she represented survivors of campus sexual assault, published white papers on Title IX and engaged in community advocacy. After working in the private sector, Hannah wanted to return to the nonprofit world of survivor advocacy and was excited to join RMvlc in November 2019.
