
Samantha DePrima is a tax attorney that has focused her career on advocating for taxpayers across the country. She specializes in IRS and State collection cases, audit defense, Tax Court petitions, and advising her clients regarding compliance procedures and best practices. She has advocated for hundreds of clients and successfully resolved an array of tax issues for them over the last 15 years.
She received her J.D., as well as her LL.M. in Taxation, from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006 and 2010, respectively. While studying for her masters, she participated in the University’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where she assisted income-qualified individuals in resolving their issues with the taxing authorities.
She is admitted to practice in Colorado, as well as to the U.S. Tax Court.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, and experimenting in the kitchen.
