Pamela Maass is a civil attorney who represents victims of sexual abuse and child sexual abuse seek civil justice. Pamela started her legal career as a Felony Deputy District Attorney in Boulder, Colorado, conducting more than 40 jury trials and hundreds of motions hearings for cases involving victims of crime. Pamela went on to serve as the legal director for RMvlc and was elected to serve on RMvlc's Board of Directors in July 2019.
In 2018 Pamela drafted and advocated, alongside victims' rights organizations, the passage of two new laws to protect victims in civil cases, Civil Rape Shield and Extending the Statute of Limitations for Domestic Violence Torts. Both laws were passed in 2018. Pamela currently serves on the Policy Committees for the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
Pamela has been recognized with the following honors:
- 2019 Access to Justice Award by the Colorado trial lawyers.
- 2018 Purple Ribbon Award by Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence
- 2017 Civil Justice Award by Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center.
